SWIFCOB 10 - La biodiversité en Suisse après 2010

The UN declared 2010 as the International Year of Biodiversity. The reasons?: The erosion of the biodiversity has to be limited, or even stoped in Europe before 2010. The parties of the Convention of Biological Diversity will meet in Nagoya next October, to report on the state of biodiversity protection. Has Switzerland succeeded? What are the consequences for the future?
After Nagoya and in the framework of Swiss Forum on Conservation Biology (SWIFCOB), Swiss Academy of Natural Sciences (SCNAT) invite the politicians, administrations' collaborators and other stakeholders to discuss with the participants of the forum about the future of the biodiversity in Switzerland. The event 'Biodiversity Forum' of SWIFCOB will take place during 2 days together with the annual congres of the SCNAT and Scientific days of the Federal Office of Environment (OFEV).
